Young Buck Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison For Weapons Violations

Young Buck was sentenced to three years in prison on Friday after he pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition according to MSNBC.

When the IRS raided his home two years ago for unpaid taxes they found the weapons and ammunition, a serious federal crime because Buck had been convicted of stabbing a man at the 2004 Vibe awards

Buck, whose real name is Darnell Brown, caught a break when the judge sentenced the rapper to serve his two counts concurrently. So instead of serving three full years, he will spend a total of 18 months in prison.

"With the judge not really considering my criminal history to subtract some time, I'm just thankful for what time I do have," Buck told WSMV.
